Took a trip in May to Raven Rock State Park in Lillington, NC. This is about 45mins southeast of Raleigh. Although the 5-mile hike was a good workout, the supposed falls (Lanier Falls) was more like a low-grade rapid. It so happens that any name with "falls" in it, is called a waterfall. Nonetheless, I took a numerous shots of this rapid and a few of a stream that led down to a lake. See "can't find my way" for one of the stream shots.
Also, I added a shot "reach for the sky" I took (6/15) of a new condo highrise being built in downtown Raleigh. The post-processing of this shot was to add a bit more surreal tension.
